Reading Solutions provides private dyslexia tutoring in Boulder using the Orton Gillingham method and the Barton Reading & Spelling System. My tutoring is an individually customized multi-sensory reading intervention using research-based methodology. This is the proven system for dyslexia that is successful for improving the reading, writing, spelling skills for teaching students with dyslexia.
I use the Orton Gillingham method and the Barton Reading & Spelling System. This learning system is systematic with explicit instruction in phonemic and phonological awareness, decoding, reading comprehension and fluency, vocabulary skills, writing exercises, and spelling.
Reading Solutions offers individualized dyslexia help, and my students advance at their own pace. The tutoring is organized so that each student learns one skill before advancing to the next lesson making it easier to learn and remember. The tutoring sessions are 45 minutes and for best results, we meet 2-3 times a week. The Orton Gillingham method and the Barton Reading & Spelling System is a highly successful process that is easy to understand and appropriate for grades K-12.
When students are given the right tools and opportunities to build knowledge, they will achieve success. It is a joy for me to tutor children with dyslexia and to be able to open doors for my students that once were closed due to their difficulty in reading, writing and spelling.
